Description

Design and develop enterprise applications using Java and modern UI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Implement cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services.
• Deploy applications into target environments using established DevOps toolchains.
• Participate in technical discussions regarding application design and build processes.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design to implementation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java 8+ and J2EE development.
• 2+ years of experience designing microservices with Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• 2+ years of experience with Angular or ReactJS.
• Strong experience with ORM frameworks including JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 1+ years of experience with AWS services including EC2, IAM, S3, and Lambda.
• Proficiency with RDBMS or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven, Gradle, and Git/BitBucket.
• Knowledge of technical concepts including Security, Transactions, Monitoring, and Performance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OAuth implementation using Ping Identity, Apigee API Management, and Istio Service Mesh.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, queue-based implementations, or NoSQL such as MongoDB.
• Scripting experience using Unix or Python, plus AWS certification.
