Qualifications:

Hands-on experience using Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent AI coding tools to deliver working software in a professional setting.  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of enterprise software development experience, including backend systems. Strong proficiency in Java with hands‑on experience using Spring Boot / Spring Cloud. Hands‑on experience with Python for building or integrating AI/ML solutions. Experience integrating AI/ML models or AI services into enterprise applications. Strong understanding of RESTful API design, integration patterns, and service security. Hands‑on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), data modeling, and query optimization. Familiarity integrating backend services with workflow orchestration platforms such as Appian. Understanding of agile development practices (SAFe preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams. 

Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated experience in an AI-native development model — generating code across the full stack through Claude or equivalent tools, reviewing output, and owning delivery end to end
