Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead the migration from monoliths to microservices, implementing patterns that ensure scalability and security. You will own the release pipeline by applying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for cloud deployment. You will build and secure REST APIs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and MS SQL databases. You will participate in Agile processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices architecture on GCP.
• Migrate legacy monoliths to scalable microservices.
• Build and secure REST APIs and application frameworks.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code for cloud deployment and management.
• Tune application performance and debug distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience building and securing REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Knowledge of MS SQL or relational databases.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• B.Tech in Computer Science and Technology.
• Experience in monolith-to-microservices migration projects.
