Description

You will design, develop, and maintain Java and Guidewire-based systems, leading medium-sized teams and mentoring junior developers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex software applications, including code configuration, unit testing, and debugging.
• Research and perform fact-finding to develop or modify information systems and integrations.
• Prepare detailed specifications and designs to guide program development.
• Define best practices, standards, and code libraries through Proof of Concepts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Guidewire Policy Center.
• Proficiency in Java and J2EE development.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Web Services.
• Ability to work within enterprise-level frameworks and platforms.
• Degree in any graduate field.
