Description

You will develop and maintain the Guidewire platform to meet specific insurance business requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex software solutions following technical standards and internal controls.
• Convert high-level system specifications and use cases into low-level design plans and technical documentation.
• Analyze system dependencies, integration points, and the impact of proposed changes on supporting applications.
• Conduct unit and system integration testing to ensure software meets performance, quality, and security standards.
• Identify and recommend improvements for system performance and future technical enhancements.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire and PolicyCenter.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with MySQL and writing stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of XML and HTML.
• Background in Auto Insurance or P&C insurance is required.
• Ability to manage projects and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
