Description

You will develop and maintain applications leveraging Java and the Hadoop ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using Java, adhering to Service Oriented Architecture principles.
• Build and consume RESTful (JSON) and SOAP services using technologies like CXF and JAX-RS.
• Implement database interactions, focusing on SQL, JDBC, and transaction handling.
• Apply object-oriented analysis and design across various platforms for application development.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in application programming and maintenance.
• Expertise in Java (JDK 1.8+), Spring Framework, and MultiThreading.
• Proficiency with Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, and Spark.
• Strong understanding of XML, JSON, SQL, and JDBC.
• Experience with build tools such as Ant or Maven.
• Familiarity with logging frameworks (Log4j) and data serialization (Jackson).
• Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit.
• Familiarity with search technologies like SOLR or Elastic Search.
