Description

Build and maintain backend microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend applications and integration solutions with Spring Boot and Apache Camel.
• Implement real-time data processing and messaging using Kafka.
• Support cloud-based applications on AWS and Azure.
• Write unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of Java/J2EE development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging.
• Proficiency with Apache Camel for integration.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Quarkus.
• Insurance domain experience.
