Description

You will develop internal software for database migration using a connector architecture to facilitate on-prem to cloud DB migrations.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop internal software for database migration supporting cross-platform data movements.
• Build web services using Spring/Spring Boot and Core Java/J2EE technologies.
• Develop RESTful services using Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with teams to achieve common goals throughout the firm.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues with JDBC drivers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java J2EE application development.
• Proficiency in Core Java/J2EE, including Java collections (maps, lists) and dynamic JSON marshalling/unmarshalling.
• Experience building J2EE applications using Spring/Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of building RESTful services with Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
• Working proficiency in SQL and experience with Oracle.
• Familiarity with React JS and Bootstrap.
• Experience with AWS and S3.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and end-to-end software development.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of connector architecture for data migration.
