Description

You design, build, and maintain real-time data streaming applications and pipelines using Java and Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Kafka producer and consumer applications within a microservices architecture.
• Integrate Kafka with existing systems, databases, and data sources.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka cluster performance, topics, and brokers for efficiency and scalability.
• Support and upgrade existing Kafka implementations and address issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing and developing real-time data streaming applications.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, including multi-threading and concurrency.
• Deep knowledge of Apache Kafka architecture, Kafka Streams, ZooKeeper, and Schema Registry.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring JPA.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with big data technologies including Spark and Hadoop.
• Experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake.
