Description

You design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming applications using Java and Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain real-time data streaming pipelines and microservices with Java.
• Develop Kafka producer and consumer applications, integrating with existing systems and databases.
• Monitor and optimize Kafka cluster performance, topics, and brokers for scalability.
• Implement security measures to protect data streams and ensure compliance.
• Troubleshoot issues and support upgrades for existing Kafka implementations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Core Java, including multi-threading, concurrency, and collections.
• Deep knowledge of Apache Kafka architecture, including Kafka Streams, ZooKeeper, and Schema Registry.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring JPA frameworks.
• Proficiency with databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or Snowflake.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data warehousing technologies.
• Background in designing complex data integration solutions.
