Description

You will design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming applications using Java and Apache Kafka.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage Kafka messaging systems for real-time data streaming.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across the stack.
• Work with Kubernetes and OpenShift to manage container orchestration and deployment.
• Participate in code reviews, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with teams to define application requirements and specifications.

Required Skills

• 5 to 14 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong, hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming.
• Experience building microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of container orchestration using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket and Git workflows.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and system integration patterns.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM MQ.
