Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications and microservices, implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement event-driven systems with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, and Kafka Streams.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and concurrency handling.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure adherence to security and coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8/11/17).
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producer, Consumer, Streams, topic management).
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Good understanding of multithreading and concurrency concepts.
