Description

You will develop and maintain distributed services, owning the full software development lifecycle from code to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java and Kafka within a distributed architecture.
• Manage build pipelines and the release process to deploy code to production.
• Design test strategies in collaboration with the SDET team.
• Productize applications by ensuring observability via Splunk, AppDynamics, or similar tools.
• Raise pull requests and provide technical feedback during code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java experience.
• 3-4 years of Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with Kafka, including KSQL, KStream, and KTable.
• Knowledge of Kafka producer and consumer configurations and filters.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD and maintaining build pipelines.
• Understanding of the SDLC and production deployment processes.
• Ability to work with open-source Kafka or Confluent Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk or AppDynamics for service observability.
