Description

Lead the development of complex enterprise software using Java and Kafka, guiding scrum teams through delivery cycles.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Own the integration and management of Kafka streams within the application architecture.
• Guide 1 or 2 scrum teams through development cycles.
• Develop and maintain automated testing using JUnit and BDD frameworks.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of technical lead experience.
• Expert proficiency in Java 8 or later.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Proven experience working with Kafka.
• Experience with SQL and MongoDB databases.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks.
• Experience operating within Agile Methodology.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and DevOps culture.
