Description

Build and maintain backend microservices and distributed systems using Java and Kotlin.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build backend RESTful APIs using Spring and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement microservices within cloud-native and distributed architectures.
• Apply Domain Driven Design, Test Driven Development, and SOLID principles to all code.
• Manage application deployment across Linux, Tomcat, Apache, or Undertow environments.
• Optimize system performance through in-memory, response header, and database query caching.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience building backend RESTful APIs with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Java (SE 11 and onwards) and Kotlin.
• Strong experience with Spring, Hibernate, JAX-WS, and REST frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux environments.
• Expertise in Object Oriented design, Design Patterns, and Reactive design.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of cryptography primitives.
• Proficiency with source control tools like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Experience working in Agile environments with integrated CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of BDD (Behavior Driven Development).
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture.
