Description

You provide L2 production support and site reliability engineering for distributed Java applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform code-level changes and deployments for minor bug fixes using Java, Spark, and Kafka.
• Build and maintain monitoring dashboards to track infrastructure performance, database query latency, and API throughput.
• Configure application health alerts in Splunk based on logs and defined SLAs.
• Develop health-check alerts for application-level processes running in Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Lead communications across multiple teams to resolve technical conflicts and production incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Production Support, SRE, or related roles.
• Hands-on development experience with Java, Spark, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes (Kube) and cloud-based environments.
• Experience using Splunk for log analysis and alerting.
• Proven ability to perform code deployments and bug fixes.
• Strong technical communication skills for cross-team coordination.
• Experience in a team lead capacity to manage incident resolution.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate qualification.
