Description

You will own L2 and L3 support for Java applications, resolving complex production issues and managing the full software development lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across multi-tier server environments.
• Implement and validate code changes across Java, Unix, and Database layers.
• Manage end-to-end processes following the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Monitor and troubleshoot job scheduler operations using Autosys or Crontab.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development and support.
• Advanced proficiency with Spring, Hibernate, and REST APIs.
• Expertise with application servers: Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, and WebLogic.
• Advanced database management and querying for DB2, Oracle, and Sybase.
• Proficiency with Unix, Shell scripting, and Perl.
• Hands-on experience with Eclipse and NetBeans IDEs.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Jira, and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Experience operating within an L2+/L3 support model and production tooling.
