Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable API services within a microservices architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of new API microservices to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code following microservices design patterns.
• Define API contracts, data models, and versioning strategies.
• Mentor junior developers on code quality and microservices best practices.
• Monitor and optimize API performance to address bottlenecks and ensure low latency.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Expertise in Java development.
• Strong understanding of API design principles and documentation.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Proven ability to design and implement API services.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional APIs.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams for production deployment.
