Description

Lead software engineering efforts for Java and Liferay Portal applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design specifications and propose technical alternatives during application design sessions.
• Implement new system software or modifications using high-quality coding practices.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure applications meet requirements.
• Perform peer reviews to ensure adherence to standards and implementation accuracy.
• Assist with application and environment configuration while coordinating with project teams for integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java 11 and above.
• Liferay Portal development (DXP 7.3 and above).
• JSP development.
• RESTful web services design and implementation.
• SQL Server.
• Git and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• Unit test frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with application and environment configuration.
