Description

You will lead technical direction and backend development for a large functional area of the product.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into clean, extensible, and maintainable software designs.
• Own large functional areas and guide the team toward correct technical decisions.
• Break down project features into actionable sub-tasks and resolve execution issues.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to individual team members.
• Build engineering roadmaps by identifying system gaps and proposing architectural solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Expertise in designing and developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Strong proficiency with GraphQL and messaging systems.
• Solid foundation in CS fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, OOP, and OOA/D.
• Experience building data-driven applications using RDBMS, NoSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Proven ability to design scalable, distributed, and available back-end systems.
• Experience working in Agile environments using TDD and CI/CD.

Preferred Skills

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
