Description

You will own the technical direction and backend development for large functional product areas, translating requirements into clean, extensible, and maintainable software designs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions and influence direction across the team for large functional areas.
• Break project features into sub-tasks, resolve execution issues, and manage delivery.
• Identify system gaps, propose solutions, and build the engineering roadmap.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to individual team members.
• Drive end-to-end testing quality and improve delivery velocity through evidence-centered design.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of related software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and GraphQL.
• Proven experience designing and developing microservices and REST APIs.
• Expertise in messaging systems and building scalable, distributed back-end systems.
• Hands-on experience with RDBMS, NoSQL, and ElasticSearch.
• Strong CS foundation in data structures, algorithms, OOP, and OOAD.
• Experience working in Agile environments using TDD and CI/CD.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
