Description

Lead technical design and end-to-end system architecture for Java-based applications in Brentwood, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end system architectures using proven design principles.
• Develop REST and SOAP web services using Java J2EE, Spring Framework, and Hibernate.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, including setup and integration of Jenkins, Crucible, and SonarQube.
• Perform defect analysis and troubleshooting via PyCharm Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate across functions, performing tasks related to Business Analyst and Project Manager roles when required.

Required Skills

• 12 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Expertise in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Integration.
• Deep knowledge of Hibernate, XML, XSD, XSLT, WSDL, and JAXB.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases including Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience with application servers such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebLogic.
• Hands-on use of build and deployment tools: Ant, Maven, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Experience with configuration management, SVN branching, merging, and tagging.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git and Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence.
