Description

You will lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Java microservices and large-scale applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build greenfield and brownfield Java microservices for enterprise environments.
• Lead complex application-development initiatives from concept through implementation.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Manage stakeholder and customer relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Ensure high-quality technical delivery through hands-on coding, debugging, and design reviews.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of strong, consistent hands-on Java development experience.
• Deep expertise in designing and developing enterprise-scale Java microservices.
• Proven experience delivering multiple large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Strong architectural thinking and enterprise solution-design capabilities.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline management and deployment.
• Background in Banking, Capital Markets, or Financial Services domains.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting JPMorgan Chase projects or environments.
• Experience with .NET or Python (note: candidates with mixed career paths in these areas before transitioning to Java may not be suitable).
