Description

Lead one or two Scrum teams to build a new enterprise application. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical refinement, breaking features into user stories and tasks.
• Define design patterns and provide high- and low-level design direction for microservices.
• Oversee delivery and conduct code reviews to ensure software quality.
• Establish standards for development and testing using industry best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments are met.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in design, analysis, development, testing, and documentation.
• 5+ years leading software development Scrum teams.
• 5+ years building microservices and orchestrating services for high-volume transactions on PCF, Kubernetes, or Cloud.
• 5+ years building systems from the ground up using design patterns, automation, and modularization.
• 5+ years in Agile environments with 2-week sprint cycles, Jira, and Confluence.
• 3+ years hands-on experience designing systems using MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of leadership experience providing technical guidance for microservice development.
• Proficiency with Java, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, Kafka with AVRO, and Apigee.
• Experience with SQLServer databases.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of TDD, BDD, JUnit, Karate, and Cucumber.
• Experience with cloud-native deployment including Blue-Green, Liquibase, and circuit breakers.
• Familiarity with Grafana, App Dynamics, and Angular or React.
