Lead development of Java-based applications within a distributed ecosystem, focusing on real-time data processing and deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of Java applications using JDK 11 or 17.
• Manage real-time data processing streams using Apache Storm 2.6.0 and Zookeeper 3.9.x.
• Oversee data persistence and messaging across Cassandra 4.0.4, Kafka, and MQ 9.2.
• Implement quality checks using JPMC Scan Tools to ensure code standards.
• Operate within the GAP ecosystem and utilize Jules knowledge for deployment workflows.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java and JDK 11 or 17.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Storm 2.6.0.
• Proficiency with Apache Zookeeper 3.9.x.
• Experience managing Cassandra 4.0.4 and Kafka.
• Working knowledge of MQ 9.2 and Oracle SQL / PL SQL.
• Experience with Spring Boot 2.x and Enterprise Linux.
• Direct experience with the GAP ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Jules and JPMC Scan Tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and GAIA.
