Lead development of distributed systems and backend services in Jersey City, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Manage data streaming and messaging workflows with Kafka and MQ 9.2.
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions using Cassandra and Oracle SQL/PL SQL.
• Utilize JPMC Scan Tools to perform quality checks and ensure code standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java with JDK 11 or 17.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 2.x.
• Experience with Apache Storm 2.6.0 and Apache ZooKeeper 3.9.x.
• Practical knowledge of Kafka and MQ 9.2.
• Experience working with Cassandra 4.0.4 and Oracle SQL/PL SQL.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Linux environments.
• Familiarity with GAP Eco-System and Jules Knowledge.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and GAIA.
• Knowledge of GAP/Kubernetes integration.
