Description

You will design, build, and maintain high-performance microservices and APIs for high-traffic public-facing systems. You will own the full development lifecycle, from translating business requirements into technical designs to resolving defects and implementing improvements. You will also drive CI/CD practices and collaborate with front-end developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build defect-free, high-performing microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Reactive Programming.
• Implement RESTful APIs and manage data interactions using SQL (Oracle, MS SQL, Postgres) and NoSQL stores.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality, debugging existing applications efficiently.
• Develop jobs using code, SQL, and scripting, and manage the codebase in Git.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate React-based UIs and build complete systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of programming experience, with 6-8 years in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or Entity.
• Proficiency with queuing/streaming engines like Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with React, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Docker, Git, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, GitLab, and Postman.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java Reactive Programming.
• Knowledge of TDD and automated testing frameworks like JUnit.
