Description

You will own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, data-intensive Java applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance Java applications focused on data-intensive processes.
• Implement real-time data processing using event-based systems like Apache Kafka.
• Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval using MongoDB and other NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with teams to architect solutions utilizing AWS services including S3, Lambda, EC2, and RDS.
• Optimize application performance and maintain data integrity across distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building data-driven applications.
• Deep experience with event-based systems (Apache Kafka or similar streaming platforms).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EMR, EKS, Lambda, S3, and AWS logging/monitoring.
• Expertise in NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Experience working with distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of SQL database management.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Flyway for schema migration.
