Description

You will lead technical design and hands-on development for responsive web applications within an agile team.

Responsibilities

• Drive user story analysis, elaboration, and design for scalable web applications.
• Write production code, unit tests, and proof of concepts during active sprints.
• Perform code reviews, ongoing refactoring, and continuous integration/delivery tasks.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to solve complex web development problems.
• Partner with QA engineers to drive automation and ensure complete test coverage for new features.

Required Skills

• 9 years of experience working with Java.
• 7 years of experience developing Java applications in an enterprise setting using Spring or Spring Boot.
• 2 years of experience driving solution design and acting as a technical lead for agile teams.
• 3 years of experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, WebDriverIO, and Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of HTTP protocol, DOM, and web fundamentals.
• Experience building high availability, low latency, and distributed systems.
• 3-4 years of experience working in Agile or SAFe development environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java 11 or above.
• Recent experience with JavaScript on the Node stack.
• Experience with Dropwizard.
