You will lead the architectural direction and design of application components within a telecom environment, while managing a development team to deliver project goals.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design new application components and define strategic system architecture plans for the product lifecycle.
• Lead a development team to execute tasks, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex system problems and technical debt.
• Research emerging technologies and standards to inform and update technical roadmaps.
• Gather requirements and map business process flows to ensure architectural consistency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a Bachelor's degree.
• 6+ years of experience leading a development team.
• 3+ years of experience in Telecom OSS/BSS development.
• 3+ years of experience with telecom services such as Wave, E-Line, Private IP, Internet, and TDM.
• Extensive experience with J2EE, Spring framework, and Cloud development (AWS).
• Proficiency with message queues (MQ) and event sourcing (Kafka).
• Experience developing both SOAP and REST-based web services.
• Strong system design skills and experience with containerization (K8s).
• Working knowledge of SQL vs NoSQL databases and experience with Agile methodologies.
