Description

You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java applications on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of secure, scalable Java-based applications on GCP.
• Translate requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with architects, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery while maintaining coding standards and quality.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct technical code reviews.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and cloud-native service integrations.

Required Skills

• 12–15 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and IAM.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Strong command over SQL/NoSQL databases such as Cloud SQL, Firestore, or Bigtable.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Spinnaker.
• Proven experience leading development teams in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

• GCP Certification (Associate or Professional Cloud Developer/Architect).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Deployment Manager).
