Description

You will lead the development of new features and maintain existing software within an iterative agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features iteratively to build out large-scale applications.
• Modify and enhance existing software to improve the codebase and add functionality.
• Coordinate application implementation and test functionality to meet specifications.
• Collaborate with the development team to solve problems and convey solutions to product owners.
• Participate in work estimation and the overall scrum process.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of related experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency with Java 8 or above.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Reactive Programming and Event Driven architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of multi-threading concepts, TCP/IP, databases, and REST-based JSON APIs.
• Proficiency with Maven, Git, and JUnit.
• Experience building and working with DevOps toolchains including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Practical application of Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, Angular (2+), or React.
• Knowledge of UI testing, continuous integration, and pair programming.
• Experience working with commercial software.
