Description

Lead a team of software engineers to design, code, and deliver high-quality software products on-site in San Jose, CA.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and delegate tasks to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects.
• Design and code high-quality deliverables adhering to established design principles and standards.
• Establish realistic project timelines and provide detailed status updates to management.
• Enforce development policies, procedures, and standards across the codebase.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, TDD, and consistent code reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong Java backend development expertise and knowledge of Java coding best practices.
• Deep understanding of Algorithms, Data Structures, and OOPs concepts.
• Experience with Spring and Hibernate or other web-based technologies.
• Proficiency in multi-threading and memory management.
• Expertise in distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Experience designing and architecting scalable, performant web applications using J2EE.
• Working knowledge of Angular or React.js.
• Ability to write optimized code and manage code merges.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Ecommerce or payment domains.
• Experience working in high-end technology product development environments.
