Description

Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of high-scale, cross-functional payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical initiatives spanning multiple teams or departments.
• Design APIs and build RESTful services within a distributed architecture.
• Deliver production-ready code independently with minimal guidance.
• Manage system design and development lifecycles using Agile methodologies.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex payment system components.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development and system design.
• 5+ years of specific experience in the payments industry.
• Expertise in Java and building RESTful services.
• Deep understanding of async programming models (events, callbacks, promises, async/await).
• Experience with relational databases and caching solutions.
• Experience with message queuing, data streaming, and workflow frameworks.
• Strong background in distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby.
