Description

Own the design, development, and production operations of scalable microservices using modern Java technologies.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, high-performance production systems and APIs using Java 17 or 21.
• Architect and implement microservices with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.
• Manage database schema design for both Oracle (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate workloads with Kubernetes.
• Implement automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in Core Java 17 or 21 and modern coding standards.
• Hands-on experience with Java-based microservices development.
• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) schema design.
• Strong understanding of Git, Maven, and Gradle build tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka or RabbitMQ).
• 12+ years of relevant engineering experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS infrastructure knowledge.
• PHP skills.
