Description

Architect and lead Java-based distributed systems and microservices development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices architectures using Saga and Circuit Breaker patterns.
• Manage distributed transactions and RESTful web services.
• Lead development using Java 8/11 and the Spring ecosystem.
• Oversee application deployment and management within Azure cloud environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex architectural issues.

Required Skills

• 12-16 years of IT experience with a proven background as a Java Architect.
• Expertise in Java 8 or 11, J2EE, EJB 3.0, and Java Server Faces 3.
• Deep knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
• Experience with Microservices Design Patterns and distributed systems.
• Proficiency with MS SQL Server and Open Rules Rule Engine or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Services including Spring Apps, Kubernetes, SQL, File System, Redis, Queues, and Key Vault.
• Strong command of object-oriented design principles and software architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Java 17 features including Functional Programming, Records, and Switch Expressions.
• Experience with Groovy, JBOSS, Eclipse Plugin Development, or performance optimization.
