Description

Lead a development team building scalable microservices and customer applications in the financial sector.

Responsibilities

• Build microservice applications using best practices for high-quality, fault-tolerant code.
• Manage a team to deliver technical solutions, perform code reviews, and mentor developers.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and front-end developers to define API schemas and integrate UI components.
• Set development standards, maintain technical documentation, and implement development best practices.
• Perform technical assessments of requirements, debug errors, and conduct routine performance optimizations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful microservices.
• Experience with concurrency frameworks such as Mono or Flux.
• Relational database experience with Oracle, MS SQL, or Postgres.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools like JUnit and API validation via Swagger, Postman, or Soap UI.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Design patterns, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with ORM frameworks like Entity, Hibernate, or Dapper.
• Knowledge of API authentication and authorization using OAuth.
• Experience using Jira, GitLab, Kafka, Docker, and SonarQube.
• Familiarity with logging frameworks and monitoring tools like Kibana, ELK, or Dynatrace.
• Ability to translate business requirements into high and low-level designs.

Preferred Skills

• Background in the Financial Domain/Sector.
• Experience implementing the BIAN framework.
