Description

You will lead technical design and development efforts for telecommunications services in Madrid.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own technical design, development, and resolution of production issues.
• Architect services using REST, SOAP, and WS protocols.
• Implement services following security principles and non-functional requirements like performance and scalability.
• Manage technical debt and troubleshoot functional or performance-related bottlenecks.
• Drive deliveries across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Java architecture technologies.
• 4-5 years of experience specifically within the telecommunications domain.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Batch, and Spring Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with JEE technologies and container-based architectures.
• Proficiency with EclipseLink, Hibernate Validator, and Jackson.
• Deep knowledge of structured information management using XML, JSON, MVEL, XPATH, XSLT, and JSONPath.
• Experience with transactional management using JTAs.
• Proficiency with Maven, Nexus, Puppet, GitLab, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Skill in service verification using SOAPUI or Postman.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working with telecom service providers such as Telefonica Spain.
