Description

Lead the development and implementation of Java-based microservices architectures in Northfield, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot, Spark, and OSGi specifications.
• Manage microservice integration, packaging, build automation, and deployment processes.
• Own microservice logging, monitoring, debugging, and testing workflows.
• Optimize application performance by managing Java/JEE internals, including classloading, memory, and transaction management.
• Develop web applications using frameworks such as Spring MVC, JSF, Wicket, or GWT.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Java development experience with JSE/JEE.
• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spark microservices, and OSGi.
• Strong proficiency in relational databases, SQL, and ORM technologies like JPA2.
• At least two years of experience in SOA microservices-based process applications.
• Deep understanding of Java and JEE internals, specifically memory and transaction management.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
