Lead technical delivery and backend development for Java-based services in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and produce high-level design documentation for stakeholder approval.
• Develop API implementations, write unit tests, and manage code reviews and integration testing.
• Lead offshore teams through design and implementation phases to ensure timely delivery.
• Partner with Product Owners during scrum ceremonies to refine requirements and provide delivery estimations.
• Deploy code to QA environments following successful integration testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in core Java.
• Hands-on experience developing Restful services and defining API contracts.
• Experience with Netty.io framework.
• Kafka or equivalent stream processing platforms.
• Azure pipeline and cloud technologies.
• Linux environments using tools like Putty.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript for UI integration tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
