Description

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable microservices applications in an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers through code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and security.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to adapt to changing requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of overall experience with a focus on cloud-native development.
• Strong expertise in Java (JDK 11+ and 17) and the Spring framework.
• Minimum 3 years of Spring Boot development experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Azure and cloud-native applications.
• Extensive experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with messaging or streaming platforms such as Kafka or Pulsar.
• Proficiency with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
