Lead technical solutions in cloud engineering, focusing on distributed systems and full-stack data development.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions across agile teams.
• Manage updates and migrations between EMR clusters to maintain organizational compliance.
• Support full-stack data development using microservices and distributed computing tools.
• Collaborate with customers and lines of business to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of application development experience using Java or Scala.
• 10+ years of DevOps experience including CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Maven, and Sonar.
• 7+ years of experience with distributed computing tools including Spark, EMR, EC2, ECS, Lambda, IAM, Security Groups, and S3.
• 5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux, including basic commands and shell scripting.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spark development.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Working knowledge of Python or Shell scripting.
• Understanding of Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing.
• Knowledge of Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
