Description

Lead technical support and maintenance for enterprise-grade Java applications in a 24/7 shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Debug, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for complex Java/Java EE application issues.
• Provide technical guidance to the team to resolve high-level tickets and ensure SLA/KPI adherence.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), analyze historical incidents, and document SOPs or knowledge articles.
• Coordinate with customer teams and Service Delivery Managers to prevent service escalations.
• Monitor application health and manage operational activities to maintain stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Application Support and Maintenance.
• Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with transactional database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2), including writing SQL, functions, and procedures.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools like ServiceNow and a solid understanding of ITIL processes.
• Basic shell scripting knowledge.
• Proven ability to analyze code flow and application functions for debugging.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Splunk for monitoring.
• Domain knowledge in Capital Markets.
