Description

Lead the design, development, and architecture of Java-based applications and microservices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Design and build scalable applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
• Define coding standards, best practices, and system design guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members to ensure quality.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of software development experience.
• Expert-level Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka (producers, consumers, streams).
• Solid AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and REST APIs.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with system scalability and performance optimization.
• Background in defining architectural best practices.
