Description

Lead a small engineering team while remaining hands-on with code and architecture.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 developers, including managing offshore coordination with teams in India.
• Design and document system architectures using established design patterns.
• Write and maintain production code within a Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate across time zones, maintaining availability for odd hours to support offshore synchronization.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in Java development.
• 1-2 years of experience in a formal leadership or lead role.
• Hands-on proficiency with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proven experience building and maintaining Microservices.
• Practical experience with AWS services, specifically Lambda and API Gateway.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Proficiency with Git repositories and database management.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of Python.
• Exposure to React JS frameworks.
• Experience managing offshore development teams.
