Description

You will lead and mentor an offshore team while coordinating technical requirements and design with onshore counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Drive offshore team delivery by prioritizing work, providing technical guidance, and reviewing deliverables.
• Analyze technical requirements and participate in design forums and requirement analysis.
• Own the development lifecycle including code reviews, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting deployment.
• Facilitate knowledge transition from vendors and identify functional knowledge gaps to scale the team.
• Interact with client stakeholders, manage defect triage, and provide weekly status updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, and RESTful Microservices.
• Hands-on experience with JPA and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in Oracle and MongoDB.
• Experience with distributed event streaming using Kafka.
• Practical use of DevOps and monitoring tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Datadog, Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Experience with automated testing and code quality tools like JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, Checkstyle, and Jacoco.
• Working knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, and HTML.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS.
