Description
Lead development and maintenance of scalable J2EE applications while contributing to product innovation and design specifications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, robust J2EE applications adhering to architectural, security, and scalability principles.
- Design data models for effective reporting and data retrieval.
- Contribute to product innovation, prototyping, and functional or design specifications.
- Maintain high standards of design and code quality.
- Work with ESBs and Open Source products to support system integration.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong knowledge of SOA, SOAP, WSDL, and RESTful Web Services.
- Expertise in Spring MVC, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Proficiency with SQL, including queries, functions, and procedures.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Jakarta EE.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Experience with reporting tools such as BIRTS or Jasper.
