Description

You will develop and maintain application components and interfaces within a Java and Mainframe environment, owning the full lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing application code or build new components based on detailed requirements.
• Translate user needs into functional concepts to define system scope and technical objectives.
• Analyze requirements and support design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Resolve operational problems while managing resource constraints and dependencies.
• Document all development work and maintain solutions on an ongoing basis.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with Java and Mainframe environments.
• Proficiency in code modification and building new components.
• Strong skills in software testing and debugging.
• Experience with deployment processes and tools.
• Ability to design, update, and manage file storage and retrieval systems.
• Ability to work under general direction within established development methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience following coding standards to ensure regulatory compliance.
