Description

You will build and maintain backend services using Java and AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications using versions 8, 11, or 17.
• Build microservices utilizing Spring Boot for ORM, Integration, Batch, and Services.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP web services using JSON and XML.
• Manage cloud infrastructure components within AWS environments.
• Write code following Test Driven Development (TDD) and Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java (8, 11, 17) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong experience with Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, Serverless, ElastiCache, Route53, ALB, VPC, EC2, and Security Groups.
• Experience with RDBMS and SQL using Postgres, Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
• Knowledge of SOA and REST/SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub, Maven, and the full SDLC.
• Experience using tools such as pgAdmin, Insomnia, and GitHub GUI.
