Description

You will design, build, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy scalable microservices using Java 8, 11, or 17 and Spring Boot.
• Implement REST/SOAP web services and integrate with SQL databases like SQL Server or Postgres.
• Manage cloud resources on AWS ECS, EC2, VPC, and RDS.
• Maintain code quality through TDD, Git, and Agile SDLC practices.
• Utilize JPA/Hibernate for ORM and handle JSON/XML data serialization.

Required Skills

• Core Java (8/11/17) with strong OOP principles.
• Spring Boot framework including ORM, Integration, Batch, and Services modules.
• Experience with AWS services: ECS, Serverless, Elastic Cache, Route53, ALB, VPC, EC2, and Security Groups.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one RDBMS (Postgres, Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server).
• Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of SOA, REST/SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Experience with Agile/Iterative development and full SDLC.
• Familiarity with tools like PG Admin, Insomnia, and GitHub GUI.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
